At the Florida Civics and Debate Initiative’s 2023 National Civics and Debate Championship tournament in Orlando, senior Ewa Tryniszewski won the Congressional Debate national championship trophy, besting more than 320 other high school students from across the nation.In addition, junior Adrian Perez-Rodriguez went 6-0 and finished 22nd in Extemporaneous Debate, and 10th in the overall individual sweepstakes based on results in Congress, Extemp Debate, and Impromptu Speaking.
