The future of Wellington Speech & Debate looks very bright; in 2024-25, we will have FIVE (!) debate classes; there are currently nearly 160 students (!) registered for the program this fall.
This is double the size of the 2023-24 squad.
(Yes, you read that correctly!)
Barring any weird changes over the summer, here’s what the setup will look like:
PERIODS 3 & 4: Juniors and Seniors (Debate 5 Honors and Debate 6 Honors)
PERIODS 5, 6, & 7: Freshmen and Sophomores (Debate 3 Honors and Debate 4 Honors).
