On Thursday, 10 Red Dawn Debaters represented Wellington in the 2023 15th Circuit R. Fred Lewis Florida High School Mock Trial Competition. Wellington went 2-1 in its second-ever Mock Trial competition, finishing fifth overall.
Adrian Perez-Rodriguez was recognized as Tournament Outstanding Witness for his portrayal of a police sergeant with conflicting loyalties, while Ahna Guillaume was recognized as the Best Advocate for Wellington in her role as lead defense attorney.
