On THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, at 530pm, we have an extremely important PARENT/STUDENT MEETING in the Wellington High School media center. It is crucial ALL varsity and novice debaters and parents be in attendance, as we have many very pieces of important information to present about the debate program and the upcoming competition year. Please clear your calendar and plan on joining us; it would be greatly appreciated! (We are including a buffet pasta dinner that night – come hungry!)
The primary purpose of this meeting is to help novice students and parents understand the world of debate a little better. Debate in general will be discussed, along with a tournament fashion show. It is also an opportunity to get debate-specific paperwork notarized (we will have notaries on hand; if you are a notary public, please let me know, as we would use your assistance that night!).
