At the January 20 PBCFL at Martin County, Brandon Burt placed first overall in his Congressional Debate chamber, while Patrick McDermott placed sixth. In Declamation, Sara Al-Shamali placed first. Mia Carreira finished second in Oral Interpretation, Ewa Tryniszewski third in Informative Speaking, Izzy Parissos fourth in Dramatic Performance, and Paula Currea Mahecha sixth in Extemporaneous Speaking.
The same weekend, the second virtual Florida Civics & Debate Initiavive tournament was taking place. Two Wolverines placed first – Ava Redfield in Just Talk, and Chiara Milazzi in Informative Speaking, In Oral Interpretation, Angelina Greco was third, Anabella Sabugo fourth, and Hannah Pardo sixth. Alexander Rodriguez and Jonathan Paul placed third and sixth in the Congressional Debate Authorship Challenge, and the Duo Interpretation team of Diego Calderon and Michael Diaz took fifth.
